Amped Roots Free is the first free release from ML Sound Lab, allowing everyone to experience the high quality of amplifier modeling and ease of use. With this plugin, you can easily create a powerful sound without lengthy setups, just like with real amplifiers.
What do you get?
The plugin provides free access to one amplifier — “5034 Fluff”, which is suitable for creating a modern metal sound without the need for additional overdrives. All settings are optimized for fast playing and impressive sound.
Additional amplifiers for purchase
For extended capabilities, you can purchase the full Amped Roots license, which will give you access to three other amplifiers:
- 5151 Fluff — The 1992 Legend. Perfect for classic metal.
- Freeman Fluff — Settings for deep low frequencies and powerful chugs.
- Mega Fluff — A monochrome monster of the early 90s that became the basis for Nu Metal.
Special Fluff cabinet
The plugin comes with a special impulse response (IR), captured from Fluff’s personal 2×12 cabinet, allowing you to reproduce his favorite microphone settings for perfect sound.
3D cabinet simulation
Amped Roots is equipped with 3D cabinet simulation, allowing you to choose between three cabinets: Mega Oversize, Freeman V30, and Freeman M25, as well as mix microphones to customize the perfect sound.
Pedalboard with effects
The built-in pedalboard includes professional effects: Noise Gate, Compressor, Drive Pedal, Chorus, Analog Delay, and Reverb.
