FireBird

Tone2 FireBird: Synthesizer with Unique HCM Synthesis

Tone2 FireBird is a VST synthesizer that stands out for its innovative architecture and powerful sound. It is based on the unique Harmonic Content Morphing (HCM) technology, which allows for the creation of extremely dynamic and original timbres.

Harmonic Content Morphing (HCM): A New Approach to Synthesis

HCM technology is based on processing a large library of waveforms, including standard (sawtooth, pulse) and more complex types (multi-waves, instrument samples, voices). The key feature is the ability to modify these waves in real-time. Modifications include transposition with addition to the original, changing the harmonic structure, synchronization, spectrum compression/expansion, and more. These transformations can be modulated, creating “living” and “flickering” sounds. Over 18,000 spectra are available for experimentation. FireBird can imitate different types of synthesis (additive, subtractive, FM, etc.) and sound like acoustic instruments (piano, brass, organs).

Simplicity and Richness of Features

Despite the depth of synthesis, FireBird has an intuitive interface, making it easy to program. Creating your own sounds can be done quickly and efficiently. The synthesizer contains 437 high-quality presets (over 1000 sounds in total), demonstrating both classic VA sounds and unique HCM timbres. The sound quality is warm and transparent.
