Forget the “machine gun” effect! Each drum in Sean Pandy Drums is recorded with six velocity layers and up to ten random-robin samples per note. This provides incredible realism and natural sound, even with fast repetitions, allowing your drum parts to breathe and live.
Plugin versions: Stereo or Multichannel?
Sean Pandy Drums is available in two convenient versions to best adapt to your workflow:
- Stereo version: Outputs all drums to channels 1+2. Ideal for quick mixing and use in simple projects.
- Multichannel version: Outputs each drum to a separate channel, giving you full control over the mix. You can individually process the kick, snare, toms, and Sub Blower, applying individual effects and panning settings for each element. Please note that reverb and master panning are not available in the multichannel version, as you are expected to apply these effects individually on each track in your DAW.
MIDI Mapping by General MIDI Standard
The plugin uses standard General MIDI key mapping, making it compatible with most MIDI controllers and drum kits. The layout is as follows:
- Kick: 35/B1 and 36/C1
- Snare: 38/D1 to 40/1
- Tom 1: 48/C2
- Tom 2: 47/B1
- Tom 3: 45/A1
- Tom 4: 43/G1
- Sub Blower: 41/F1 (takes the place of the second floor tom)
