The main difference of the plugin is the use of oscillators with limited bit depth, which creates characteristic aliasing and graininess, which is the basis of its unique sound. LowBitMonoSyn is equipped with two independent oscillators:
- 8-bit sine wave
- 8-bit pulse waves (3:1, 1:1, 1:7)
- 4-bit triangle wave
- 4-bit sawtooth wave
- 4-bit noise
Each oscillator has pitch settings (Pitch and Fine) for precise control or unison creation.
The plugin also offers flexible modulation options:
- Envelope modulation (Env modulation) for dynamic parameter changes.
- Low-frequency oscillator modulation (LFO modulation).
