Lord of the Springs

Welcome to the world of extraordinary sounds! If you’re looking for original timbres that will make your music stand out, Lord of the Springs by Taron is exactly what you need.

Lord of the Springs: An Instrument of Unique Sounds

This VST instrument is based on a unique concept: 128 actively vibrating spring systems that are constantly in motion. Each keystroke or movement of the modulation wheel stimulates these springs, creating rich, lively, and dynamic sounds with a unique character, ideal for experimentation.

Due to its nature, the plugin is ideal for creating metallic, ringing timbres reminiscent of a glockenspiel, xylophone, or marimba. However, its capabilities are much broader. The flexibility of the settings allows you to obtain soft, atmospheric pads, aggressive percussion, or completely unique effects and textures that go beyond the ordinary. Since the sound is generated procedurally, be careful with potential signal level jumps – the use of a limiter is highly recommended for safety.

Expressiveness of Control: Pitchbend and Pitch Relax

Lord of the Springs has a special implementation of pitchbend, which affects only the keys currently held down, completely ignoring those sustained by the pedal. This gives additional and precise control over musical expression. The Pitch Relax function allows you to adjust the speed at which the sound returns to its initial pitch after releasing a key.

Main Feature: The “BODY” System

The central element of the plugin, which gives it its name, is the “BODY” system. This main spring resonates with the sounds generated by all the other springs, creating an effect similar to a classic plate reverb, but with a unique organic coloration. You can finely tune its sound using the key parameters:

  • Tune (Resonance frequency adjustment)
  • Decay (BODY resonance decay time)
  • Diffusion (Density and “blurring” of resonance)
  • Sharpness (Character of BODY resonance)

“BODY” also contains a built-in phaser with tremolo, which adds modulation depth. This effect can be synchronized with both the project’s BPM and the exact playback position in the song. The SOLO mode, which can be mixed in, adds even more possibilities for creating unique timbres and experimental effects.

Lord of the Springs is a powerful and inspiring tool for creative musicians, sound designers, and anyone who strives to go beyond the ordinary. Its unique architecture opens the way to sounds you haven’t heard before. Download it and start your sound experiments today!
