What Makes Introjector Lite Special?
Unlike ordinary loop players, Introjector Lite focuses on deep manipulation. Its main function is the ability to take an existing audio loop and completely re-sequence it, creating brand new, unexpected rhythmic structures. This opens the door to experimental beatmaking, complex percussive patterns, and unique soundscapes.
Key Features and Functionality
The plugin has a rich set of tools for creative sound processing:
- Loading WAV Files: The ability to load up to 8 custom audio files in WAV format. This allows you to work not only with ready-made loops, but also with individual one-shots, recordings, or any other sound material.
- Creating Slice Kits: From any combination of loaded WAV files, you can create a kit of 16 slices. Each slice is a separate, independent segment of sound, ready to use.
- Playing Like a Drum Machine: The created slice kits can be instantly played using the first 16 MIDI notes of your keyboard or controller. This turns Introjector Lite into a flexible drum machine, where each “hit” is your own, precisely cut sound fragment.
- Built-in Sequencers: The plugin is equipped with 8 sequencers, which can be activated and played in real time using the next 8 MIDI keys. This allows you to create dynamic, changing patterns right during performance.
- MIDI Control of Parameters: The next two octaves on a MIDI keyboard can be used to control selected plugin parameters, such as pitch. You can “play” with the parameters, turning Introjector Lite into a real instrument. At the same time, it is possible to disable the pitch change for certain slices to preserve their original sound or create interesting contrasts.
- Recording the Output: All your experiments and created patterns can be easily recorded as a new loop, ready for import into any DAW or other application. Recordings are automatically named by creation time and stored in folders by BPM.
Effects and Modulation
For further sound shaping and processing, Introjector Lite includes a set of high-quality effects borrowed from another Homegrown Sounds product – Black Magic:

- Compressor
A special feature is the ability to independently enable/disable effects (FX Enable) for each individual slice. This means that you can process different parts of your kit with different effects or pass them through the effects selectively, which leads to extremely interesting and complex sound possibilities.
In addition, 2 Modulation Sequencers are available, each of which can be assigned to control two selected parameters, adding movement and evolution to your sound.
Unpredictable Creativity: Randomization System
As with other Homegrown Sounds products, Introjector Lite has an advanced randomization system. Each parameter can be randomized separately, but the main “feature” is the global Random function. With one click, it can create a completely unique loop or slice kit.
