Quad Zamp: The Heart of Your Drums and One-Shots
The plugin has a unique architecture consisting of four independent “multi-wav players.” Each such player is essentially a separate mini-sampler optimized for playing a single sound when a specific key is pressed. In total, you get 12 individual sections for loading and controlling samples, which are accessed via assigned MIDI notes.

Layered Sound
One of the key features is the ability to load and play up to three samples SIMULTANEOUSLY within a single wav player. This opens up a wide range of possibilities for layering sounds, creating complex drums or special effects that respond to the dynamics of your performance.
A Full Arsenal of Shaping Tools
Each wav player is equipped with a full set of sound shaping tools:
- Two envelopes: one for amplitude (volume), the other for pitch. This allows you to flexibly control the attack, decay, sustain, and release of the sound, as well as add melodic or percussive elements by changing the pitch.
- Individual settings for EACH of the three samples in the player:
- Tuning: precise pitch adjustment.
- Start and End points: determining the section of the sample to be played.
- Loop: looping a specific part of the sample.
- Reverse: playing the sample in reverse.
- Volume: individual level for each layer.
- Panning: placement in the stereo field.
Performance Dynamics
Each sample also has its own velocity sensitivity control. This allows you to create very expressive and realistic drum parts or use velocity to switch between different layers of samples (for example, a soft hit – one sample, a loud hit – another).
Mixing Grid and Randomization
The built-in Mixing Grid simplifies the process of balancing the three layers of samples. And to add unpredictability and “liveliness” to the sound, each wav player has three independent randomizers, which are accessed via special interface elements.
Custom Settings
Although, by default, the players are assigned to the keys from C2 to B2, you can easily change this assignment using convenient note selectors located in the lower right corner of each player. This allows you to adapt the plugin to your MIDI controller or workflow.
