DoubleSix is a powerful 6-operator FM synthesizer based on an architecture with support for 32 classic DX7 algorithms and 16 additional algorithms for 4-operator configurations. This provides a huge palette for experimentation with the modulation structure.

- Operators: Each of the six operators has its own flexible envelope generator (from 1 to 8 stages) and a clipper function. You can turn operators on/off, fix the frequency or attach it to a note, set the octave range (-6 to 3), fine-tune and pulse width. 11 different waveforms are available.
- Envelopes: Three general envelopes with tempo-based retriggering (BPM) and a choice of 14 different curves. Each has its own time control and can be disabled for optimization.
- LFOs: Three independent LFOs with 19 waveforms, 16 speeds (BPM-sync) and free speed mode.
