- Create a new MIDI track in your DAW.

- Set the output of the MIDI track to an instrument (synthesizer, sampler) or effect whose parameters you want to control.
- In Gatefish, select the MIDI CC number that corresponds to the parameter you plan to control in the target instrument or effect. Make sure that the target plugin is set up to receive control via this CC number.
