Noise Bleach

Have you ever encountered unwanted noise, humming, or resonances that spoil your mix? Or maybe you want to subtly control the dynamics of individual instruments, transforming smooth sounds into sharp and staccato ones? Meet FKFX Noise Bleach – a powerful and versatile plugin designed for the most demanding mixing and sound design tasks.

What is FKFX Noise Bleach?

Noise Bleach is not just an ordinary noise gate. It’s a whole dynamic processing system that offers unprecedented control over sound thanks to its 8-band architecture. The plugin works on the principle of multi-band gating, allowing you to pinpoint the effect on specific frequency ranges of your audio signal. This makes it extremely effective for cleaning up drum recordings, guitars, bass, vocals, and any other material from background noise, unwanted artifacts, or controlling the “tails” of reverb or delay.

Key Features

  • 8-band noise gate: Detailed control over dynamics in eight independent frequency bands.
  • Dynamic Matrix Threshold: Precise adjustment of the threshold level for each band, allowing you to achieve maximum clarity and naturalness of sound.
  • 8 solo modes: The ability to listen to each band separately for jewelry-like parameter tuning.
  • Automatic “Noise Gate” mode: Simple and quick gate setup for basic noise suppression. The plugin automatically determines the optimal thresholds.
  • Automatic “Noise Bleach” mode: A more aggressive mode for harsh noise removal, ideal for recordings with high levels of background noise.
  • Automatic “Transients” mode: Highlighting and preserving the attack and transient processes of the sound, which allows you to make the mix more “punchy” and focused.
  • “Gate Invert” mode: Inverting the gate operation. Instead of passing the signal above the threshold, the plugin passes the signal below the threshold. This allows you to effectively control or even use as an effect those parts of the signal that are usually cut out (for example, reverberation “tails” or atmospheric noise).
  • Latency Compensation: By default, the plugin uses a latency compensation system for precise synchronization in studio production environments. This function can be disabled in the settings for real-time use (for example, during live performances).

Flexibility in Use

FKFX Noise Bleach is not only a sound cleaning tool. Thanks to flexible setup and “Transients” mode, it can be used for creative control over dynamics. For example, transform smooth sounds (legato) into staccato (pizzicato) or emphasize the attack of instruments. It will become an indispensable assistant in your arsenal of plugins for achieving professional sound.

The plugin is available in VST and AU formats for Windows and MacOS operating systems. Note that the free version of the plugin contains a 10-second message before the start of use. Despite this, the functionality remains complete, which allows you to evaluate all the possibilities of this wonderful tool.
